The future is unclear. It is dark, full of uncertainties. Because of that, most people hesitate to leave one place in search of another. Some, like yours truly, do not even know where to go or whether something good, or even just okay, is waiting on the other side.
I am tired. I am confused. I am scared.
Still, there is something that makes leaving easier. It is not certainty about where you are headed. It is clarity about where you no longer want to remain. A decision becomes easier when, even without knowing where you will go, you know you do not want to stay.
So today, after sitting with the thought for over a month, I finally got up...to leave. Your company. Your people.
