Few days back, a colleague in my office walked to me and asked me if I could translate a Hindi sentence for him. He is Malaysian. I gladly agreed. Here is how it went;
Colleague: "Main Shaayar To Nahi"?
Me: Its a song!!!
Colleague: I know....but what does it mean???
Me: I am not a poet
Colleague:....ok....hmmm...I will use Google Translate
I kept wondering why did he say that. Why did he want to use Google Translate when the human version is right in front of him. Only later I realized that he may have thought that I am telling him that I wont do it as 'I am not a poet'!!!
I mailed him the translation of the entire song, along with the link to the video!!!
