“Till death do us part,” they say. But perhaps death can only part those who remain two separate beings.
When you spend a lifetime searching for that missing half of yourself, and one day you find it in another person, something extraordinary happens. That person ceases to be merely someone you love; they become a part of who you are.
And how can death take away someone who has become a part of your very existence?
Death may take away their physical presence, their voice, their touch, but it cannot take away the part of you that is now them.
So perhaps love was never about being together until death. It was about becoming so much a part of each other that even death loses its power to separate.
आधा तू, आधी वो। और जो तुम्हारे भीतर बस गया, वो भला तुम्हें छोड़कर कहाँ जा सकता है?
